At Deathloop, the aim is to take out the eight Visionaries, each of whom have been locked away for months. As it turns out, the Visionaries have been trapped in separate tunnels leading to the same platform, so you start jumping off of the same platforms. If you touch the platforms during this jump, you’ll activate a special ability that will allow you to control the animals.
This ability will be activated if you touch or move any of the platforms. So when I got the demo, I was doing a ton of jumping off platforms while also keeping my hands on the platforms. It was extremely exciting. Also, when I touched a platform, the turtles would turn themselves into adorable little turtles. They were adorable.
I’m not sure if it was the new toy from the game, or my anticipation of the game, but my hands were constantly touching the platform. I had to be careful not to touch the platform again and not touch the turtle’s back. I’m not sure if that was a good or bad thing.
